District Profile
The district experiences a tropical climate with two rainy seasons (March-July and September-November). Average annual rainfall ranges between 1,200mm and 1,500mm. Temperatures range from 26°C to 30°C throughout the year.
Predominantly moist semi-deciduous forest with trees like odum, mahogany, and wawa. The area is suitable for cocoa cultivation, which is the main cash crop.
